Untitled: Everything and nothing, 1999-2002 by Jace Salloum is part of an ongoing multi-channel video installation presented in a comfortable setting, encouraging viewers to engage with the material at will. This video installation continues Salloum’s interest in addressing social and political realities and representations, manifestations, and enunciations. It focuses on borders, nationalisms, movements and subjectivities, and the conditions of living between polarities of culture, geography, history, and ideology.

Jayce Salloum
Jayce Salloum has been working in installation, photography, mixed media, and video since 1975, as well as curating exhibitions, conducting workshops, and coordinating cultural events. His work critically engages the representation and actualization of social manifestations and political realities. A media arts philosopher and cultural activist, Salloum has lectured internationally and has had numerous exhibitions throughout North and South America, Europe, Japan, and the Middle East, at institutions including the Museum of Modern Art, The National Gallery of Canada, Galerie Nationle du Jeu de Paume, and American Fine Arts Co. A five channel video installation of his Untitled: Everything and Nothing can be seen at the Canadian Museum of Civilization, Hull, until March 2003.
