YYZ is proud to host the Asian Arts and Culture Trust collective.

Bringing together artists working across photography, painting, installation, video, and digital media, the exhibition considers belonging not as a fixed state, but as a practice, shaped by migration, memory, identity, relation, and care. Developed through AACT’s ongoing newcomer artist mentorship program funded by the Toronto Arts Council, the exhibition grows out of a broader process of workshops, dialogue, and explorations. Lives unfold between places, cultures, and ways of being as the works explore what it means to arrive, to remember, and to remain connected across distance and time.

Featuring works by:
Abhijit AA, Alice Yutong Hua, Alek Phan, Casey Hong Yu Chan, Chloe Rodriguez, Danni Nguyen, Steffi Sin Tung Ng, and Teresa Chan.

Rather than offering a singular definition, the exhibition holds space for the contradictions of belonging: the tension between othering and kinship, loss and continuity, fragility and resilience.
