Lucid Clutter addresses a fascination with collection and accumulation. The works in this exhibition give attention to everyday moments and objects that are often overlooked or deemed unimportant. The “stuff” that surrounds us ‘everyday moments and objects’ have a heightened sense of value through their representation.

Katharine Harvey
Katharine Harvey has a BFA from Queen’s University and an MFA from the University of Victoria. She has exhibited her work in Toronto, Cambridge, Kingston, Calgary, Victoria, St. John’s, and New York. She Lives in Toronto.
David McFarlane
David McFarlane conceptually informed work critiques the autonomy of the art object and highlights its processes, as well as directly implicating the audience. He has worked in sculpture, installation, and site-specific performance and is currently developing a web-based work entitled www.davidmcfarlane.com which he will launch in the spring of 2003. He currently lives in Toronto.
Melanie Shatzky
Melanie Shatzky is a photo-based artist residing in Montreal. She has shown her work in Quebec and Ontario and soon will be showing in Alberta.
Derek Sullivan
Derek Sullivan has a BFA from York University and an MFA from the University of Guelph. Recently his work has been included in exhibitions in Vancouver, Shanghai and Toronto. He was born in early April 1976.
