Laurel Woodcock
Laurel Woodcock established her career in Montreal where she resided before moving to Toronto in 2000 to take an appointment at the University of Guelph, where she organized courses in video, performance and alternative practices. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. Recent exhibitions include; MOCCA (Toronto), Agnes Etherington Art Centre (Kingston, Ontario), Musee de Louviers (Paris, France), The Ottawa Gallery (Ottawa, Ontario), Humberside University Gallery (London, England), ISEA 97 (Chicago, Illinois). Recent video screenings include; 25 hrs (Barcelona, Spain), Cinema Naivete (Ottawa, Ontario), Images Festival (Toronto), Recent Canadian Video (Cairo, Egypt), Canadian Fall (Glasgow, Scotland).
